My first Pop Art piece. Please full view it for the full effect.
I really enjoyed doing this - makes a nice change to be using lots of really bright colours!
On A2 paper, with cardboard stuck on to create some raised areas (the explosion and the letters that spell POP!, also the arrow with the word Art and alternate squares in the background.
Then painted over with acrylic paint (which is why the photo makes it look so shiny - sorry).
The Pop Art girl on the right is a copy of a Lichtenstein (another notable work is WHAAM!).
The three flower prints at the bottom left were originaly a photo that I took of a daffodil, which I Warhol'd up in photoshop. I'm really pleased with how they turned out, considering I'm not good at digital art.
You can download the full size one if you want to see the details, but it is BIG.
